Celebrating our first annual WAY Day!
Intrax is excited to announce the start of WAY Day, an annual day of giving where volunteers come together to make a positive impact in our community. WAY Day gets its name as an acronym for the Intrax founders' last names, John Wilhelm and Takeshi Yokota; they cared deeply about families and personal connections that would increase cultural understanding and inspire mutual respect and personal growth.
For our first ever San Francisco WAY Day event, we chose to partner with Habitat for Humanity for their work with Bay Area families, with values steeped in building partnerships, equity, stability, and legacy.
On Thursday, May 2nd, the San Francisco staff will volunteer to build playhouses for SF community organizations that serve children. The completed playhouses will be handed over to the recipients at the end of the event.
How can you participate?
In addition to our internal volunteering, Intrax will donate to Habitat for Humanity to support their work. If you would like to support their cause, your donation will be matched! Please use the 2024 WAY Day Donation Match page to learn more and make a secure donation.
Look out for more news about WAY Day and more opportunities to get involved!
